Animals need water; people need it, too.

Water, water, everywhere and not a drop to spare.
Water's in the ground and water's in the air.
Although it may evaporate, it never goes away.
It snows onto the mountaintops and flows into the bay.
You can take a shower in it; you can wash your hair.
You can wash your clothes, or wash your teddy bear.
Really clean water is a-gettin' mighty rare.
And if we want to save it, people have to care.
Water is a rain, water is a flood. Water turns dirt into mud.
Sometimes water's blue and sometimes water's green.
Sometimes water's dirty and sometimes water's clean.
